Shady Henry

Shady Henry is an accomplished Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Currently at Braskem America since February 2016, Shady supports strategic capital projects and develops conceptual designs for implementation across multiple sites. Prior experience includes leading process engineering efforts for polypropylene and ultra high polyethylene plants, as well as overseeing the commissioning and startup of an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene plant. Shady's previous tenure at Total spanned over 15 years, culminating as Production Superintendent, where responsibilities included team leadership and performance management. An accomplished technical expert, Shady has also contributed to safety improvements and has a strong background in catalyst system development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from The American University in Cairo and the University of Houston.
