Rafael Garcia

Rafael Garcia has over a decade of experience in strategy and business development within the chemicals and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as the Specialty Chemicals Strategy and Business Development Manager at Braskem since March 2014, Rafael has successfully developed a US$ 300 million investment business plan, evaluated cash flow generation across the company's assets, and managed a team to assess investment opportunities. Additionally, Rafael holds the position of Vice President, Finance at the IMD Alumni Club of Brazil. Previous experience includes roles at Odebrecht TransPort in business development and strategy, as a Senior Consultant at Monitor Group, and internships in strategic planning and M&A at Banco Santander and Quilombo Empreendimentos. Rafael holds an MBA from IMD and a degree in Naval Engineering from USP.
