Jakub Mrva

Jakub Mrva currently serves as the Deputy Mayor of Bratislava, focusing on environmental issues, climate adaptation, and city forests, a position held since January 2023. Mrva has been a member of the Municipality Parliament for the City of Bratislava since December 2018, as well as for Bratislava - Nove Mesto until January 2023. Prior roles include a Risk Management Specialist and Compliance Officer at Orange Slovensko, where responsibilities encompassed corporate risk assessment and compliance initiatives. Mrva's earlier experience includes leadership roles in Swiss Re, including Deputy Head of Reconciliation, and a Member of the Committee on Traffic, Environment, and Public Order at the Miestny urad - Bratislava Nove Mesto. Mrva holds an Engineer's degree in Finance, Banking, and Investment from the University of Economics in Bratislava, completed in 2009.
