Hanna Shekhter has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their tenure as a Technical Support Engineer at The MathWorks Inc. from 1996 to 1997. Hanna provided software support for MATLAB users and resolved technical issues related to software installation and usage.
Moving on, they worked as a Software Test Engineer at Eastman Kodak from 1998 to 1999, where they performed functional, regression, and viability tests on software that supported Kodak DigiSource 9110 printer client/server functionality. Hanna also automated GUI-based printing using Xrunner to reduce test time.
Next, Hanna joined Heidelberg Digital L.L.C in 1999 as a Software Test Engineer. Hanna played a crucial role in determining early testing strategies and automating comprehensive communication tests. Hanna Shekhter's education history is as follows. Hanna obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, completing their studies from 1992 to 1996. Hanna then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, attending from 1998 to 2004.
In 2011, Hanna enrolled in the YUSP Certificate Program in Educational Technology at Yeshiva University, which they completed in 2012. Following that, they pursued another certificate program at Yeshiva University, specializing in Online/Blended Instruction. Hanna completed this program in 2013.
Hanna also holds several additional certifications. In 2014, they became a SymbalooEDU Certified Educator. Hanna obtained the Common Sense Digital Citizenship Educator certification in 2015. That same year, they completed the course "Powerful Tools for Teaching and Learning: Web 2.0 Tools" through Coursera Verified Certificates. In 2016, they received the Google Certified Educator Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from Google for Education. Furthermore, in 2017, they passed the Google for Education Trainer Skills Assessment. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the STEM.org Certification from STEM.org | Educational Research.
