Jacob Venne has worked in the software engineering industry since 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Impulse Point as a QA Automation Engineer and Software Engineer. In their role as QA Automation Engineer, Jacob developed an automated testing framework using a headless web driver and created automated acceptance tests, smoke tests, regression tests and end-to-end tests to validate software before reaching production. As a Software Engineer, they contributed to the development of a network access control (NAC) solution for large BYOD networks, wrote unit tests and integration tests, and developed a comprehensive load testing suite. From 2017 to 2018, Jacob worked at BST Global as a Software Engineer where they designed technical specifications for custom features, developed custom features for clients, and upgraded existing clients to newer versions of the software. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at myMatrixx, An Express Scripts Company, as a Software Engineer where they developed RESTful spring-boot microservices, spearheaded MyMatrixx's involvement in Machine Learning initiatives, and collaborated with technical and business associates to build an enterprise-level application. Currently, Jacob is employed at Bravado Health as a Lead DevOps Engineer where they have implemented AWS FhirWorks and AWS HealthLake and migrated existing applications relational data to HL7 FHIR Resources, architected semantic versioning for scheduled releases and hotfixes, and standardized and sourced all cloud resources and deployments across the organization.
Jacob Venne attended the University of South Florida from 2013 to 2017. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science in 2016 and a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science in 2017.
