Kyle Black possesses extensive experience in technical training and mainframe systems programming, currently serving as a Technical Training Advisor at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina since December 2009. In this role, Kyle acts as a liaison between the training department and various Information Systems groups, focusing on areas such as Mainframe development and DevOps, while also providing training in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and z/OS. Additionally, Kyle has a role as a mainframe systems programmer for z/VM, offering development and platform support. Kyle is also a trainer for the Godot game engine with GAMKEDO LLC, supporting new game developers through HomeTeam GameDev. Previously, as a Mainframe System Programmer at Penn State University, Kyle designed and maintained systems on z/OS, z/VM, and z/Linux across IBM z9 Mainframes. Kyle holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and English Language and Literature from Penn State University.
