Kimber Kissel

Kimber Kissel is the director of development at Brave New Films and is responsible for all things fundraising and donor engagement. From major gifts to grassroots donations Kimber’s passion as a self-identified progressive media activist brings valuable experience and innovative thought to any project she works on. Outside of BNF Kimber has volunteered to share her development experience with other nonprofit professionals. Most recently giving a presentation to a packed audience at Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Los Angeles’ Professional Development Workshop and guest lecturing about her current development work at the University of California Irvine. Before Brave New Films Kimber worked as a field director for several successful political campaigns and as a public sector labor organizer. Kimber grew up in Encinitas, CA, and got her B.A. in Political Science & Sociology at the University of California Santa Barbara. On the weekends you can find Kimber running on the beach, surfing in the ocean and sharing her exceptional wit with friends and strangers.
