Catherine Knowles-O'Brien

Catherine Knowles-O'Brien, Ed.D., is an experienced educator and leader in early childhood development, currently serving as a National Trainer and Facilitator at the Brazelton Touchpoints Center since January 2021. Prior roles include Manager of Program Integration at Boston Children's Hospital, where efforts focused on incorporating key messages into early childhood programming, and Assistant Principal at The Friendship School, leading initiatives to enhance educational practices and reduce racial isolation. Catherine also held the position of Director of Young Children and Families at LEARN, focusing on innovative approaches to early intervention and community support, and worked as VPK Coordinator for the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, leveraging collaboration with state agencies and local schools. Earlier experience includes serving as a Curriculum Quality Consultant for Youth and Family Alternatives. Catherine possesses advanced degrees in Education and Early Childhood Education, having earned a Doctor of Education from Northeastern University and additional certifications in Educational Leadership and Early Childhood Education.
