Jim Stewart is an experienced professional with a diverse background in law enforcement, military, and public service. Currently serving as Treasurer for the Texas Chief Deputies Association Inc. and a Board Member for both the Sheriffs Office Advisory and Review Board and Bernalillo County, Jim has held various roles, including Policy Consultant and Chief of the Brazos County Community Vaccine Task Force. Jim's prior experience includes leadership positions as Chief Deputy Sheriff at the Brazos County Sheriff's Office and as Board President for the Sexual Assault Resource Center. Additionally, Jim has worked as a Lieutenant at the Bryan Police Department, a Consultant at Taylor+Stewart, an Adjunct Instructor at TEEX, and served as a Colonel in the US Army, specializing in Military Intelligence. Jim holds a BGS degree in Politics and History from the University of Houston-Downtown.
