Chioma Iwuoha has a diverse work experience spanning various non-profit organizations and youth-focused initiatives. Chioma currently holds the position of Head of Individual Giving at Bread for the City. Prior to this, they served as the Co-Founder of Melanin Uprising Youth Activist Collective, a youth-led organization dedicated to creating a safe and positive space for Black youth. Chioma also worked as the Director of Programs & Strategic Partnerships at the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers. In previous roles, Chioma served as the Director of Development at Capital Partners for Education, where they successfully raised funds for mentoring programs, and as the Director of Alumni Relations at The Field School, where they increased alumni donations and cultivated relationships. Chioma also held positions at the Legal Aid Justice Center and the Maryland Small Business Development Center. Chioma has a strong passion for youth advocacy and empowerment, as seen through their experience as a Youth Organizer at Empower DC and as a Scholars Program Instructor at For Love of Children. Chioma was also actively involved in the 2008 Democratic National Convention as a Chairman's Page.
Chioma Iwuoha completed their high school education at Khamit Institute from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Chioma then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana Studies and Anthropology Sociology at Lafayette College from 2006 to 2010.
