Jourdan Lewis

Manager, Government Relations, U.S. Policy & Advocacy at Breakthrough Energy

Jourdan Lewis is a Manager of Government Relations with Breakthrough Energy’s U.S. Policy and Advocacy team. In this role, she advances the mission and goals of Breakthrough Energy by advocating for the acceleration of climate and clean energy policies through legislative and government relations strategies.

Prior to Breakthrough Energy, Jourdan worked as Senior Policy Advisor to a Member of Congress and Policy Coordinator for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy. She was also a Policy Analyst for the Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. Jourdan’s career in energy policy began at the Department of Energy where she was a Special Assistant and Special Advisor within the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.

Jourdan is a proud alumnus of the University of Kentucky and the German-American Commission Fulbright Program. She lives within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and trying her hand at the latest Spartan Race or New York Times recipe.
