Imtiyaz Hossain

Imtiyaz Hossain, MPH, currently serves as Associate Director, Data Science Lead in Global Medical Affairs at Takeda since July 2020, focusing on the execution of data science strategies and employing advanced analytical techniques. In addition to this role, Imtiyaz is a member of the Board of Directors at Breakthrough Greater Boston and acts as an Adjunct Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, teaching courses in Health Informatics and the application of AI in healthcare. Previously, Imtiyaz held positions at Sage Therapeutics as Data Science and Insights Lead, and at the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health as a Research Fellow. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Immunology from Tufts University.
