Nicholas Bastian

Nicholas Bastian has a diverse work experience. Nicholas currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Breezeway since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a Software Engineer from November 2020 to May 2023, where they played a key role in creating a new advertising campaign that resulted in a significant revenue increase. Nicholas also worked at Manulife as a Full Stack Developer from January 2020 to November 2020, where they worked on various projects including developing React apps and REST APIs.

Before their time at Amazon and Manulife, Nicholas worked at RBC as a Developer from December 2017 to January 2020, where they implemented tools for error detection and deployed cloud solutions. Nicholas also worked at RBC Investor & Treasury Services as a Full Stack Developer for a brief period in 2017, where they co-founded a web application for the trading floor.

In addition to their tech roles, Nicholas has prior experience in Quality Assurance at WestRock Company, Assembly Line work at CpK Interior Products Inc., Warehouse work at Loblaw Companies Limited, and Cashier work at McDonald's Canada.

Nicholas Bastian completed their high school education from St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School, receiving a High School Diploma from 2009 to 2012. Nicholas went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Guelph, studying from 2013 to 2017.
