Arianne Mertens

Arianne Mertens is an experienced professional currently serving as CEO and COO at BREG since February 2023. Prior to this role, Arianne was with Elia from September 2008 to January 2023, where responsibilities included Team Manager for Key Account Managers and Key Account Manager, overseeing multiple large infrastructure programs such as the Ventilus project. Arianne's career also includes a position as Project Leader for Substations at Altran, alongside consultancy work. Educational qualifications feature a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics from KU Leuven and a high school diploma in Science and Math from Montfortcollege Rotselaar.
