Rosemary Nidiry is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in criminal justice and public service. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at the Brennan Center for Justice since January 2023, Nidiry previously held the position of Deputy Director at Fair and Just Prosecution from February 2017 to December 2022. Nidiry has also worked as Director of Criminal Justice at the Arnold Foundation, as an AUSA at the Southern District of New York (SDNY), and as a staff member and counsel at the National Security Division of the DOJ. Other notable roles include Senior Investigator for the UN Independent Investigation Commission and an Attorney Advisor at the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel. Nidiry holds degrees from Columbia Law School and Princeton University.
