Gust Desmedt

Gust Desmedt currently serves as the Head of Corporate Strategy and M&A at Brenntag since September 2022 and holds the position of President Eventing at both FRBSE-KBRSF and Paardensport Vlaanderen since January 2021 and 2017, respectively. Previously, Gust was the CEO of the Green Chemistry Division at MINAFIN GROUP, managing multiple business units focused on biobased chemicals and ingredients from February 2021 to September 2022, and held various strategic roles at Solvay, The Boston Consulting Group, Indaver, and Total, contributing to business development, corporate strategy, and project management across different industries. Gust holds an MBA in General Management from Vlerick Business School and a Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Ghent University.
