Wolfgang Edel

Wolfgang Edel is an accomplished professional in sustainability and business development, currently serving as the Director of Business Development Sustainability at Brenntag Essentials since June 2018. Their expertise includes sustainability strategy development and implementation, as well as the leadership of commercial sustainability initiatives. Wolfgang has made significant contributions to industry decarbonization through the creation of a low carbon products portfolio and a CO2e management system. Prior to Brenntag, Wolfgang held various roles at BASF for nearly 17 years, including European Product Manager for solvents and Senior Product Manager for formic acid. Wolfgang holds a Certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree from the University of Mannheim.
