Ashley Shanks

Ashley Shanks has been a dedicated teacher at Marsh Creek Elementary since April 2017 and has simultaneously served as a substitute teacher for the Brentwood Union School District since January 2016, gaining diverse experience across multiple schools in the Bay Area. Prior to this, Ashley completed a student teaching role at Penngrove Elementary School in 2016, participating in professional development workshops on contemporary curricula and enhancing oral communication skills. Ashley's earlier experience as a child care assistant involved supporting the academic and social needs of children, showcasing strong multi-tasking abilities. Ashley holds a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Criminal Justice from Sonoma State University.
