Teemu Ahonen

Teemu Ahonen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and trading. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Brevan Howard since November 2023, Ahonen previously held the position of Head of Absolute Return at Ilmarinen from September 2019 to November 2023. Prior to that, Ahonen worked as a Portfolio Manager at Nektar Asset Management AB and held various roles at Ilmarinen, including Head of Alfa and Head of Alfa 2. Ahonen's career began at Deutsche Bank and Salomon Brothers as a Fixed Income Trader, following an earlier position as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Suomen Pankki. Ahonen earned a Master’s Degree in Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu in 1998.
