Mark Fishleigh

Mark Fishleigh has had a diverse range of work experiences in various roles and companies.

In 2011, they worked as the Director of the Financial Services practice at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, leading the division in delivering solutions for clients to protect and enhance their critical assets.

From 2014 to 2017, Fishleigh served as the Business Development Director at Capita, focusing on the financial services sector and creating and delivering technology-enabled services for clients.

In 2017, they joined Topaz Professional Services as a Director, where they worked with start-up, scale-up, and established businesses to develop their business models, propositions, and go-to-market strategies. Mark also assisted investors and businesses in identifying potential acquisition targets.

Fishleigh continued their directorial roles at Commissionly.io - Sales Compensation Management from 2018 to 2019 and Client Share from 2017 to 2020. At Commissionly.io, they managed sales compensation management, and at Client Share, they helped build stronger relationships between B2B buyers and suppliers through an engagement platform.

In 2018, Fishleigh also became the Commercial Director at Learning with Experts, overseeing commercial operations within the company.

Fishleigh founded Founder + Lightning in 2021, where they currently serve as Director. Additionally, they are a Director at Shift, starting from 2018.

Finally, in 2018, Fishleigh founded Oxalyst Partners and became the Managing Partner. The company aims to support early-stage and growth businesses in achieving their full potential by providing guidance and assistance in various aspects of their development and growth.

Mark Fishleigh attended West Buckland School from 1981 to 1991, where they did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Following this, they attended Loughborough University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
