Kim Yess received a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Central Missouri State University and an MBA from Webster University. After spending some time in academic research at St. Louis University Medical School, Kim made the transition to the industry sector by starting her next chapter at Brewer Science in 1989. She has been pleased to spend the last 30+ years doing what she loves, all the while contributing to the success of the business and the industry. She holds multiple granted patents in the area of anti-reflective chemicals developed specifically for the integrated circuits industry, etch protective materials used for applications within the MEMS arena, and polymeric adhesives and processes for wafer thinning packaging applications. In her current role, she is responsible for managing the WLP New Business Development and Materials Operations Groups in alignment with Brewer’s corporate goals and objectives. Kim resides on several technical committees for conference organizations including ECTC, IMAPS, and IWLPC.
