Hamish Bates has a wealth of experience in the digital technology and banking industries. In their most recent role as the Head of Digital Technology at RBC Brewin Dolphin, they are responsible for overseeing the digital technology initiatives. Prior to this, Hamish worked at Lloyds Banking Group as a Delivery Lead, responsible for leading the digital platform evolution and transformation projects. Hamish began their career as a Business Consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.
Hamish Bates attended Yale University in 2011 and participated in the Yale School of Management - Executive Education Leadership Programme. Hamish did not obtain a degree during their time at Yale.
From 1994 to 1997, Hamish attended the University of Birmingham, where they earned a BSoSc degree in Economics.
In terms of additional certifications, Hamish achieved a Product Executive certification from Product School in October 2021. Hamish also obtained a Prince 2 - Certified Practitioner certification, but it is not specified when or where they obtained this certification.
