Sally Mimms

Sally Mimms currently serves as VP and Deputy General Counsel at Brex since April 2023. Previously, Mimms held the position of VP and Deputy General Counsel at Opendoor from July 2017 to November 2022, where leadership was demonstrated in supporting various legal functions and building a team during significant growth. Earlier roles include Director & Senior Counsel of Compliance at Sungevity, where compliance across multiple departments was managed, and Of Counsel at Locke Lord LLP, advising financial services companies and managing litigation. Mimms' career began as an Associate and Coordinator at the American Institute of Steel Construction and Kraft Foods, respectively. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and completion of the Women’s Executive Leadership Program at UC Berkeley, along with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Tufts University.
