Giovani Pelliza

Giovani Pelliza has a robust background in operations and engineering within the food processing industry, currently serving as Operations General Manager at BRF since September 2008, where responsibilities include strategic operational direction for two food processing and packaging factories employing 840 personnel. Previous roles at BRF include Engineering & Maintenance Manager, where Giovani was integral in establishing the Maintenance, Utilities, and Engineering Departments for a new factory, and Maintenance Supervisor within a high-capacity poultry processing environment. Earlier experience includes roles as Maintenance & Utilities Engineer, focusing on sustainability and environmental certification efforts. Giovani holds a Master's Degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande - FURG, along with completing a program in Organizational Leadership at Harvard Extension School.
