Julien Huteau

Julien Huteau is an experienced professional in environmental and sustainability advisory roles, currently serving as a Senior Environmental and Sustainability Advisor at Brian Perry Civil since November 2022. As the owner of Ecocific Ltd since 2018, Julien specializes in laboratory-grade analysis of various gases, including greenhouse gases and hazardous air pollutants, ensuring compliance with OSHA and NOSH standards. Prior roles include Environmental Research Scientist at Genera Ltd, Project Manager and Marine Biologist with the Maketu Taiapure Committee, and Research Intern with the Titanium Industry Development Association, where Julien developed innovative environmental parameters. Julien also held positions at Tauranga City Council, Bay of Plenty Regional Council, and Tauranga Harbour Watch Inc. Julien earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Research from The University of Waikato, focusing on chemistry, ecology, oceanography, and innovation.
