Jordyn Hermani

Jordyn Hermani is a seasoned journalist specializing in Michigan policy and politics, currently serving as a Capitol Reporter for The Center For Michigan, Bridge Michigan, and BridgeDetroit since February 2024. Previously, Jordyn worked with MLive Media Group as a News Reporter, focusing on political culture issues such as education policy, LGBTQ rights, gun reform, and election reforms in Michigan. Prior experience includes serving as a House Reporter for Gongwer News Service, where coverage centered around the Michigan House of Representatives and the Department of Corrections. Jordyn has also held various roles, including Cyber Security and Technology Intern at POLITICO, Reporter at Midland Daily News, and Pulliam Fellow at The Indianapolis Star. Additionally, Jordyn has demonstrated leadership as Editor In Chief and News Editor at Central Michigan Life. Jordyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Political Science from Central Michigan University and also studied at Moscow State Linguistic University.
