David J. Reich, MD, FACS

David J. Reich, MD, FACS has extensive experience in the medical field. In 2022, they became the Director of the Liver Transplant Program, Chief of the Innovative Technology & Therapeutics Program, and Transplant Center at Cleveland Clinic. From 2008 to 2022, they were a Professor of Surgery and Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University, and from 2008 to 2022 they were the Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. From 2007 to present, they have held various leadership positions with the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), including Treasurer, Member of the Board of Directors, and Chair of the Information Technology Advisory Committee. From 2009 to present, they have held various leadership positions with the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, including Member of the ASTS Strategic Planning Strike Force, Chair of the Task Force on MACRA, Value Based Practice and Pay Reform, Chair of the Legislative Committee, and Chair of the Standards Committee. From 2003 to present, they have held various leadership positions with the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). In 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Directors and served on the Medical Advisory Board from 2001 to 2015 at the Gift of Life Donor Program. In 2019, they became the Primary Investigator and Medical Affairs Lead at Bridge to Life Ltd.

David J. Reich, MD, FACS completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from McGill University in 1989 and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Columbia College, Columbia University in 1985.
