Maurício Flores Carvalho

Maurício Flores Carvalho has extensive work experience in the health care industry. Maurício began their career in 2000 as a Critical Care Nurse at Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos. In 2001, they became a Urology Nurse at Hospital de S.João. From 2003 to 2008, they held the role of Oncology Nurse at Instituto Portugues De Oncologia Do Porto Francisco Gentil, E.P.E., and Emergency Nurse at Mass Gathering Team. In 2007, they became a Hemodialysis Nurse at Uninefro S.A., Portugal. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Critical Care Nurse at The Wellington Hospital. In 2014, they became a Senior ELAD Specialist at Vital Therapies, Inc. In 2019, they took on the role of Clinical Support Specialist at Aerogen. Most recently, in 2020, they became Director of Business Development and Clinical Research Manager at Bridge to Life Ltd., in addition to taking on the role of Perfusion Specialist.

Maurício Flores Carvalho completed a Bachelor of Science Nursing - BSN RN at Escola superior de saude de Beja from 1996 to 2000. Maurício then attended Metropolia University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 1999 to pursue a degree in Nursing Education. In 2006 and 2007, they studied Renal Hemodialysis at Instituto português de Oncologia do Porto. In 2013, they completed a degree in Critical Care Nursing at King's College London. Currently, they are enrolled at York St. John University, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Innovation Leadership and Consulting.
