Bhavik Shah

Bhavik Shah is a seasoned professional in the field of translational research and genetic medicine, currently serving as VP of Translational Research at QED Therapeutics since December 2021 and simultaneously as VP of Research at BridgeBio. With previous roles as Senior Director and Director of Translational Research at Rhythm Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2021, Bhavik led all pre-clinical activities and strategy. Prior experience includes a Group Leader position and Senior Scientist role at Pfizer between 2013 and 2018, and a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School/BIDMC from 2009 to 2013. Bhavik began a career in research as an intern with International Flavors and Fragrances Inc. in 2008. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neurobiology from Utah State University and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuroscience from Harvard Medical School.
