Armando Bustamante has extensive work experience in finance and accounting, spanning over three decades. Armando began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they held the positions of Senior Associate and Manager. During this time, Armando played a lead role in various audits for multinational public companies such as Ford Motor Company, Chevron, and Samsung. Armando also reviewed and audited financial statements included in Forms 10K and 10Q.
After their tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Armando joined Dean Foods Company as an SEC Reporting and Controls specialist. In this role, they functioned as the primary liaison with external auditors and led continuous improvement efforts to drive audit efficiencies.
Armando then moved on to Crosstex Energy as an External Reporting Manager Consultant. Here, they prepared financial statements and footnotes for annual and quarterly SEC reports and served as the main point of contact for external auditors.
Next, Armando joined Hunt Utility Services as a Financial Reporting Manager, where they guided the preparation of SEC IPO registration Form S-11 and assisted in the preparation of financial statements and MD&A for annual audited reports and quarterly reports. Armando also implemented Yardi GL and PowerPlant asset management systems.
Armando then transitioned to Sharyland Utilities as Controller, where they established the vision, mission, and strategic planning for the accounting and finance function. Armando managed the organization's accounting team, ensured compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures, and oversaw the general ledger, treasury, A/R, A/P, fixed assets, debt compliance, and financial and regulatory reporting.
Following their time at Sharyland Utilities, Armando became a Regional Controller at TriMark Strategic. Here, they guided the preparation of financial statements and coordinated cross-functionally with various departments, including accounting, finance, tax, legal, procurement, and regulatory. Armando completed financial statements and oversaw the preparation of balance sheets, statements of income, statements of cash flows, and statements of shareholders' equity.
Most recently, Armando has worked as a Consultant at Robert Half and Bridgepoint Consulting. In these roles, they have provided consulting expertise in finance and accounting.
