Don McIntosh, CPA, CGMA

Don McIntosh, CPA, CGMA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and consulting. Don is currently working as a Financial Operations Consultant at Bridgepoint Consulting since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at AXIA Partners, Consulting from 2018 to 2022.

From 2012 to 2018, Don held the position of Director - Financial Advisory Services at Sirius Solutions. During their tenure, they took on various consulting roles, including serving as a Consulting Controller for a provider of electrical infrastructure and maintenance services, where they implemented month-end close processes, prepared account reconciliations, and assisted with external audits.

Additionally, they served as an Interim Chief Accounting Officer for a land drilling services provider, where they relocated and integrated divisional accounting functions, documented accounting and operation processes, and recommended new internal controls.

Don also worked as a Consultant for companies in the oil and gas industry, where they developed accounting policies, documented internal controls and processes, and reconciled complex balance sheet accounts. Don also served as a Project Manager for a recycling and waste products provider, leading a team to improve the order-to-cash process and implement standardized forms and reports.

Prior to their role at Sirius Solutions, Don was a Director at Tatum LLC from 2010 to 2012. Don also worked as a Consultant at Resources Global Professionals from 2005 to 2010 and at Robert Half Management Resources from 2004 to 2005.

Earlier in their career, Don held the position of Vice President/Controller at Baran Telecom, where they consolidated accounting operations and implemented a new ERP accounting system. Don also worked as a Controller at Alstom Signaling and Assistant Treasurer at Southwestern Financial Corporation.

Throughout their career, Don has demonstrated expertise in financial operations, accounting process improvement, internal controls, and ERP system implementation.

Don McIntosh, CPA, CGMA began their education at the University of Louisville in 1976 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in 1980. Afterward, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Texas in March 1987. Additionally, Don McIntosh also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not known.
