Balazs Koskoci

Balazs Koskoci has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From October 2021 to the present, Balazs has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at BridgeU.

Prior to that, from October 2018 to September 2021, Balazs worked as a Senior Software Engineer at LogMeIn. In this role, they developed both greenfield applications using React and Node, as well as added features to legacy applications using Ruby on Rails, Java, and vanilla JS. Balazs also had experience in developing for the cloud on AWS.

From January 2016 to October 2018, Balazs worked at Vodafone Global Enterprise as an Agile Prototyping Analyst. In this role, they were a backend developer using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra with Ruby Object Mapper (rom-rb), and Grape. Balazs also had the opportunity to work remotely. Prior to that, from July 2014 to December 2015, they worked as a Pricing Automation Specialist at Vodafone Global Enterprise.

Starting in September 2011 and until July 2014, Balazs worked at IBM as a Commercial Specialist. Balazs also held positions as a Change Control Lead from June 2010 to September 2011 and as a Cash Retention Bonus Representative from October 2008 to May 2010.

Balazs's earliest work experience recorded is at Ashville College, where they worked as a Mathematics and Physics teacher in 2004-2005.

Balazs Koskoci has a Master's Degree in Mathematics and Physics from Eötvös Loránd University. In addition, they attended Szent István Egyetem, where they studied Nature Conservation. Balazs also participated in an Erasmus Exchange program at The University of Bonn, focusing on Physics and Astronomy. Balazs completed their high school education at Városmajori Gimnázium in Budapest.

Balazs has obtained several certifications, including ITIL v3 Foundation in 2015 and Six Sigma Yellow Belt in 2010. Balazs is also an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA), which they obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2019. Furthermore, Balazs holds certifications as a Certified Open Water Diver from PADI and a Certified Rock Climber from MAHOE. Balazs is also a Licenced Civil Nature Guard certified by the Danube-Ipoly National Park.
