Gerry Pasciucco

Head of Finance & Strategy at Bridgewater Associates

Gerry Pasciucco joined Bridgewater in 2015 and is currently the Head of Finance and Strategy. He is also a Partner, a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Operating Committee, and co-chairs the Commercial and Business Strategy Committee. Gerry is responsible for overseeing the CFO and the Finance department, as well as developing and coordinating firmwide strategy in partnership with the Head of Corporate Development. Previously, he was the Advisor to the internal board, responsible for developing and managing the Board Office, and responsible for managing certain strategic projects, including the economic transition of the founder, Ray Dalio. He continues to have responsibility for transition projects and certain Board-related activities in his current role.

Prior to his time at Bridgewater, Gerry ran AIG Financial Products, the derivatives subsidiary of AIG. He joined AIG FP in November 2008, shortly after the Federal Reserve Bank of New York provided the company with an emergency funding package, and profitably unwound the company’s $2.7 trillion portfolio of complex derivatives. Before AIG, Gerry had a 24-year career at Morgan Stanley, where he worked as an investment banker. When he left Morgan Stanley for AIG, he was a Vice Chairman and the Chairman of Morgan Stanley’s Capital Commitment Committee. In addition, he acted as a senior banker for a number of the firm’s clients. During his time at Morgan Stanley, Gerry managed many of the firm’s capital markets businesses and was a founding member of the firm’s Strategic Engagement Group.

Gerry graduated from the Harvard Business School with high distinction and as a George F. Baker Scholar. He also graduated with a degree in Economics from Williams College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
