Abbie Parkhurst

Abbie Parkhurst is the College’s Vice President for Marketing and Communications. Parkhurst graduated summa cum laude with an English degree from Washington and Jefferson College and received a master of science in broadcast journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Following graduate school, Parkhurst worked as a television reporter in Central New York.

Prior to joining the College in 2011, Parkhurst held positions in marketing, communications and public relations at Syracuse University and St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, New York.

Parkhurst oversees public and media relations, marketing, digital media, branding and design for the College. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
