Torsten Schmidt

Torsten Schmidt has been working in the IT industry since 2005. Torsten began their career as a System Administrator at viadukt GmbH in 2005. In 2007, they moved to port01.com as a Media Operating. In 2011, they were hired by Job2Go Recruitment Solutions as an IT Project Coordinator and then moved to Shynex as a Lead Web Developer (Freelancing) in 2012. In 2014, they were hired by The simPRO Group as a Senior Software Engineer (UI/UX) and then moved to vinCreative in 2018 as a Lead Frontend Developer (UI/UX, VueJS + NodeJS). Most recently, in 2020, they were hired by Bridj Technology as a Frontend Lead (VueJS, NodeJS, UI/UX) where they are responsible for architecting and developing a VueJS-based frontend framework, building a library of reusable frontend modules, building blocks, components, and user interface- and workflow design of Bridj's frontend features.

Torsten Schmidt attended the Berufliches Schulzentrum für Elektrotechnik Dresden from 1998 to 2000, where they earned an Abitur. Torsten then attended the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft from 2002 to 2006, where they studied Geodetic Surveying.
