Melissa Knight

Melissa Knight has an extensive work experience in the cybersecurity field. Melissa began their career in 2003 as a Senior Intrusion Detection & Threat Analyst - Team Lead at the United States Department of Defense. In 2007, they moved to the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) as the DoE/NNSA Cyber Security Operations Manager. In 2013, they joined Las Vegas Sands Corp. as their Executive Director Cyber Security Operations. In 2015, they were appointed as the Vice President Managed Security Services at Herjavec Group. In 2020, they became the Managing Partner at Knight Ink, as well as the SVP - Chief Information Security Officer at Brier & Thorn, Inc. In 2021, they co-founded Knight Studios and in 2022, they co-founded Knight Events, where they are a Producer, as well as co-founder of APISecure.

Melissa Knight attended Nassau Community College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Science in Computer Science. Melissa then attended ECPI University from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
