Nick Strater

Nick Strater has extensive experience in the field of geology and trenchless technology. Currently serving as Sector Lead at Brierley Associates Corporation since 2009, Nick specializes in ground characterization, risk assessment, planning, design, construction management, and claims assessment, with expertise in horizontal directional drilling (HDD), tunneling, microtunneling, pilot tube, auger boring, pipe jacking, and direct pipe applications. Prior to joining Brierley Associates, Nick held the position of Project Manager/Sr. Geologist at Haley & Aldrich from 1997 to 2009 and worked as a Staff Geologist at S&EE from 1996 to 1999. Nick Strater earned both a Master’s (M.S.) and Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in Geology from the University of Rhode Island, completing studies from 1991 to 1993 and 1988 to 1991, respectively.
