Donald Grant

Donald Grant is the current CFO at RDI REIT. Prior to this, they served as the Group Financial Controller at Capital & Counties Properties PLC from September 2008 to July 2015. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of financial control, external / internal reporting, business planning and budgeting, performance measurement and management of the finance function within a FTSE 250 listed property company. Donald also participated in meetings at a senior level and advised Executive / Board teams on financial performance including recommendations in areas for revenue maximisation, cash flow, profit management and cost control implementation.

During their time at Capital & Counties Properties PLC, Grant also led the preparation of Capco’s maiden results, which were subject to increased scrutiny by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), including two comprehensive enquiries into the first two years’ report and accounts. Both enquiries were closed swiftly with no adjustments or disagreement on accounting treatment. Donald also undertook all aspects of FP&A, risk management, procurement as well as business continuity, and deputised in absence of the CFO.

Donald Grant completed a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Auckland, with a focus in accounting. Donald was awarded an academic scholarship for their outstanding performance in accounting courses.
