Steven Berkenfeld

Steven Berkenfeld founded and serves as the Principal of Ecotopia Consulting LLC, where they help mission-driven companies develop their business plans and growth strategies. Steven is also a Board Member of Electrovaya, Chief Strategy Officer of Brightcore Energy, and Board Chair of Svante. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member for Avina Clean Hydrogen Inc., Carbonwave, Flux Marine Ltd., and Preserve. Steven is also a Special Advisor on Climate Tech and Sustainable Investing for Water Tower Research LLC and an Advisory Board Member for ZincFive, Inc. Their work focuses on promoting sustainability, environmental impact, and innovative technology-based solutions.

Steven Berkenfeld completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University from 1977 to 1981. Steven then pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree at Columbia Law School from 1981 to 1984.
