Shaun Oaklee has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Shaun started their career in 2003 as a Branch Manager at United American Insurance, where they worked for four years. In 2007, they transitioned to executive recruiting roles at Ajilon Professional Staffing and Ajilon Finance Solutions. From 2009 to 2013, Shaun worked at Zywave as an Account Executive, contributing to the development of employee benefits and property & casualty insurance software solutions. Shaun then joined Salesforce.com in 2009 as an Enterprise Business Development professional.
Since 2013, Shaun has worked at BrightEdge in various sales positions. Shaun began as an Account Executive and was later promoted to Enterprise Account Executive. In 2014, they became a Sr. Solutions Account Executive and in 2015, they became the US West Sales Team Manager. Shaun's career progression continued at BrightEdge, where they served as the Director of Sales and Head of the Cleveland Office from 2016 to 2017. Shaun then became the Sr. Director of Sales, leading multiple teams of account executives and managers. In 2018, they held the role of Vice President of Sales, and later transitioned to Vice President of Global Sales, where they currently serve. Shaun has played a significant role in building and expanding the sales teams at BrightEdge, and has spearheaded the opening of their Cleveland office, growing it from 1 to 40 employees in just one year.
Shaun Oaklee received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre & Communications from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Shaun also obtained certifications in Effective Negotiating from Karrass in October 2010, and in Solution Selling from Sales Performance International/Solution Selling, Inc. in December 2009.
