Simon Rogerson has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Simon co-founded Octopus Group in 2016 and serves as the Chief Executive. Under the Octopus Group umbrella, they oversee six businesses focused on investments, renewables, energy, wealth management, real estate, and financial coaching. Prior to Octopus Group, Rogerson was the Chief Executive and co-founder of Octopus Investments from 2000 to 2019. During their time there, they helped establish Octopus Investments as one of the UK's fastest-growing investment companies. Before that, they worked at Mercury Asset Management as the Head of Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology for their Global Equity Team from 1997 to 2000. Rogerson's experience in building successful businesses and their knowledge of the financial industry make him a valuable asset in their current role at Octopus Group.
Simon Rogerson completed their secondary education at Tonbridge School from 1987 to 1992, where they studied French, German, Economics and S-Level Economics. Simon then went on to attend the University of St Andrews from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Modern Languages.
