Michael Lefevre

Michael Lefevre is the vice president of operations, leading the operations functions of safety, transportation, maintenance of way, maintenance of equipment, and mobility services. Michael is one of Brightline’s longest-tenured employees, joining the company in 2013.

Michael has held a number of roles in the transportation industry including service planning at the Class I freight railroad CSX Transportation, working on a ship-docking tugboat on the Delaware River, and operating a public water taxi.

In recognition of his positive impact on the industry and his commitment to improving public transportation across the country, Michael was named a Rising Star by Progressive Railroading Magazine and is a recipient of the American Public Transportation Foundation scholarship.

Michael received both his Master of Business Administration and his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
