Peter Beňo

Peter Beňo has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and management positions. Peter is currently the Director of Software Engineering at BRIGHTPICK. In their previous roles, they served as the Head Of Engineering at Lidaretto, where they coordinated the development of a mapping and surveying product. Peter was also the Managing Director at BJ+P s.r.o. Additionally, they worked at Photoneo as the Head of Robot Applications and Development Team Lead. Peter also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Photoneo and as a Software Developer at vibration.sk. Peter Beňo has also worked as a Freelance Webdeveloper and a Software Developer at Happy Company SK. Peter has research experience as a Researcher at Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave and the National Centre of Robotics.

Peter Beňo graduated from Gymnázium, Ul. 17. novembra 1180, Topoľčany in 2007 with a focus on Biology and Chemistry. Peter then went on to Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from 2007 to 2011. Peter continued their education at the same university and obtained their Master's degree in Robotics from 2011 to 2013. Finally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Robotics (Automation) from 2013 to 2018 at Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Beňo also obtained certifications. Peter received the CEFR C1 certification from EnglishScore in 2022 and the M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers certification from MongoDB, Inc. in 2015.
