Colin Merrifield

Colin Merrifield has a wealth of experience in product management and marketing. Colin began their career in 2007 as a Field Application Scientist and Scientist, Platform Development at BioScale, Inc., where they were the technical lead in the implementation of the AMMP acoustic detection platform and developed immunoassays for biomarkers. In 2015, they moved to ProteinSimple as a Product Manager, Micro-Flow Imaging and Marketing Application Scientist. In 2018, they joined Bio-Techne as a Senior Strategic Product Manager, Simple Plex. In 2021, they were appointed Director of Marketing at Matterworks. Currently, they are the Director of Product Management at BrightSpec, Inc., where they are commercializing a game-changing measurement technology for the rapid analysis of complex chemical mixtures.

Colin Merrifield attended the University of Connecticut from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology.
