Jim Beckert

Jim Beckert has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Jim is currently working as the Director of the Transformation Office at Brightspeed since 2024. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Finance Operations at Brightspeed from 2022 to 2024.

In 2021, Jim Beckert served as the Principal at Beckert Advisory Group LLC for a brief period from October 2021 to February 2022.

Before that, they were the EVP & Chief Financial Officer at The Williamsburg Winery from 2019 to 2022, where they were responsible for finance, human resources, and information technology functions.

Jim Beckert has a long career with Verizon, starting from 2000. Jim held various roles including Executive Director & Assistant Treasurer - Pensions & Benefits from 2010 to 2018, Director of Global Wholesale Finance from 2008 to 2010, and Executive Director of Network Services Engineering & GSI Finance from 2000 to 2005.

Prior to their tenure at Verizon, Jim Beckert gained additional experience at GTE from 1981 to 2000.

Jim Beckert has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame. Jim also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago.
