Temitope Akinyemi

Temitope Akinyemi has extensive work experience in the legal field, specializing in privacy and data security. Starting in 1997, Akinyemi worked as a Corporate Counsel at Cummins Inc. until 2000. They then worked as an Associate Attorney at Iseman, Cunningham, Reister & Hyde from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2009, Akinyemi served as a Contract Manager at General Electric. They later joined Andersen Byrne LLC as an Associate from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016, Akinyemi worked at OITS as an Associate Attorney and Privacy Officer, providing legal advice on privacy laws and technology transactions. Following this, Akinyemi served as the Chief Privacy Officer and Ethics Officer at SED from 2016 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Privacy Officer, Deputy General Counsel, and Vice President Privacy and Data Security at Brightspeed.
