Shahid Wanyanga-Tate has a long and varied work experience. Shahid began their career in 2010 as a Customer Service, Sales, and Advertisement representative for Lawngevity Lawn & Snow Inc. In 2012, they moved on to become a Customer Service Representative for Avis Budget Group. In 2014, they were appointed Chairman of the Memphis Chapter of STS Enterprise, an organization that strives to cultivate excellence in its members. In 2015, they took on a role as a Retail Sales Consultant for Sprint and a Marketing Intern for Optimum Polymer Technologies. In 2018, they moved on to become a Financial Relationship Consultant for Regions Bank and a Lead Expert for Enjoy Technology, Inc. In 2019, they were a Sales Associate (B2B) for Highline Aftermarket. Most recently, in 2020, Shahid became a Customer Success Specialist for CAMP Systems International, Inc. and, in 2022, a Customer Engagement Specialist for Brightwheel.
Shahid Wanyanga-Tate obtained a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Communication Minor from The University of Memphis between 2014 and 2019. Additionally, Shahid has a certification in Microsoft Office.
