Hanno van Aarde

Hanno van Aarde is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology and financial services sectors. As CEO of Briisk Limited since January 2015, Hanno has led a high-growth technology company offering a cloud-based digital instant transaction platform for insurance and financial services. Previously, Hanno founded Surestart Online Financial Services Pty Ltd and Hepstar Insurance Distribution, the latter becoming a leader in digital insurance distribution. Hanno's career also includes roles such as Managing Director at EPI Trading (Pty) Ltd, Chief Operating Officer at Commlife Holdings (Pty) Ltd and Nucleus Administrators (Pty) Ltd, and Operations Manager at PolicyLink (Pty) Ltd. Hanno began the professional journey as an Engineer at Wates Meiring & Barnard. Hanno holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, a Graduate Diploma in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
