In 2005, they pursued a Mandarin Language Program for International Students at Beijing Language and Culture University. In 2002, they also received a Certificate in Conflict Mediation from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Allison later pursued a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs at The Fletcher School at Tufts University from 2015 to 2017.
