Guy Staff

Helping C-level executives and other leaders thrive in their most difficult conversations and improve their results has been the focus of Guy Staff’s work for over 20 years. At Forrester Research and Fidelity Investments, Guy used insightful questions and low-judgment listening to build the trust and candor needed to drive groups to name, examine, and solve their toughest issues.

He excels in environments in the midst of culture change/disruption. He was a central member of a multiyear, culture shaping project at Forrester that improved employee experience and raised coaching scores on annual, company-wide surveys by 13 points from 2017 to 2019. Guy acknowledges and addresses the discomfort of change while finding the opportunities that it presents. He inspires leaders to do the same for themselves and their teams.

Guy believes that the primary objective of bringing leaders together is to improve business performance by solving real work challenges. This belief is central to how he designs and facilitates group meetings and learning experiences. He also subscribes to the “simplify and add lightness” philosophy of the late design engineer, Colin Chapman. A leadership program he implemented at Fidelity increased on-the-job success for 84% of leaders 3-12 months after completion.

Guy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and leadership/personal development certifications including: Life Orientations, Emotional Intelligence for Personal Leadership, Human Interaction Laboratory, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
